Thomas Boyland Playground Community Input Meeting
Join us for a public meeting at Thomas Boyland Park to discuss the re-imagining and reconstruction of this park through the Community Parks Initiative.
Through the Community Parks Initiative, NYC Parks is spending $130 million to rebuild and re-imagine 35 community parks across the city, including at Thomas Boyland Park in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We will upgrade playgrounds, ball courts, green spaces and more, using 21st-century designs and materials. To do this, we need your input and feedback on local needs, and your ideas on how this playground can better serve the neighborhood.
Registration for this event is encouraged, but not required.

This It’s My Park season, volunteer with Masons in the Parks to help clean up and beautify Thomas Boyland Park, a Community Parks Initiative public space.
This It’s My Park season, volunteer with Masons in the Parks to help clean up and beautify Thomas Boyland Park, a Community Parks Initiative public space. Volunteer activities will include planting, mulching, and general clean-up of the horticulture beds; as well as painting the handball courts, and litter removal in the park.
Masons in the Parks will also offer free basketball clinics on the courts, and friendly kickball on the fields in the afternoon. All volunteers and families are welcome! Hope to see you in the park!
