Ranaqua Park Community Input Meeting
Join us for a public meeting at Ranaqua Park to discuss the re-imagining and reconstruction of this park through the Community Parks Initiative.

Through the Community Parks Initiative, NYC Parks is spending $130 million to rebuild and re-imagine 35 community parks across the city, including Mott Haven’s Ranaqua Park. We will upgrade playgrounds, ball courts, green spaces and more, using 21st-century designs and materials. To do this, we need your input and feedback on local needs, and your ideas on how this playground can better serve the neighborhood.

Registration for this event is encouraged, but not required.

Join Partnerships for Parks and local volunteers to help spruce up Ranaqua Park and Garden. Ranaqua Park was selected as a Community Parks Initiative site and will undergo a renovation project in the coming months. Local community members contributed ideas at a visioning session in November 2014, and these ideas have been incorporated into the schematic designs. In the meanwhile, we invite you to join neighbors to help beautify the park with some fun yardwork. Bring your enthusiasm. We’ll bring the tools. All ages are welcome.

To volunteer, please register here.
