Named for Elizabeth Seton, the first American to be canonized as a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church, Seton Falls Park is a lesser know gem in the Bronx with a rich history and diverse ecosystem. A former estate and Revolutionary War battle site, the park hosts a marshland which supports many birds, amphibians, and reptiles, as well as metamorphic rock outcroppings and cliffs and a pristine temperate forest.
