This workshop, led by 7th and 8th grade students from Columbia Secondary School for Math, Science, and Engineering, will focus on on-site compost possibilities for school gardens. They will discuss what compost is and the principles of composting, why and how their school composts, and strategies to engage school communities and students in cafeteria composting.
