In this third retelling of the hit the superhero saga, five ordinary teens must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, they quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers. This 2017 reboot is the first blockbuster film to feature LGBTQ and autistic superheroes.

Black and Gold Marching Elite is a marching band based in Bed-stuy Brooklyn.

Now in its eighth year, Make Music New York, is a unique festival of 1,000+ free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City, all on June 21st, the first day of summer. MMNY takes place simultaneously with similar festivities in more than 726 cities around the world — a global celebration of music making.

From 10 in the morning to 10 at night, musicians of all ages, creeds, and musical persuasions — from hip hop to opera, Latin jazz to punk rock — perform on streets, sidewalks, stoops, plazas, cemeteries, parks and gardens.
