New York University has partnered with Recreation Center 54 in hosting its Amputee Mobility Clinic. Recreation Center membership is required.
New York University has partnered with Recreation Center 54 in hosting its Amputee Mobility Clinic. Held every other Monday, this program is part of NYU’s Amputee Support Program.
All participants must pre-register with NYU and become a member of the recreation center. To become a member, please visit the Recreation Center membership information page.

- 7:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Self-Defense Demonstration
- 8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Special Panel of Guest Speakers Q & A Session
*Acceptable items for donation: Gently used professional clothing including skirts, blouses, slacks, dresses, jewelry, and other accessories.

President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives is a man with a bigger problem than other world leader has ever faced – the literal survival of his country and everyone in it. After bringing democracy to the Maldives, he must now ensure that his tiny country doesn’t disappear under rising sea-levels brought about by climate change.
