This It’s My Park season, volunteer with Montefiore Park Neighborhood Association to clean up the park and participate in a public art project led by Urban Soul Alliance.
This It’s My Park season, volunteer with Montefiore Park Neighborhood Association to clean up the park and participate in a public art project led by Urban Soul Alliance.
The public art project asks passersby, park users, and neighbors to respond to and finish the prompt “I need…”. The responses will then be placed throughout Montefiore Park and will remain on view until mid-July. This first installation at Montefiore Square will be a representation of 1,000 voices from our community. You do not need to be an artist to do this work, all you need is the belief that, collectively, we can work toward social justice and social transformation.
We hope to see you in the park!

This It’s My Park season, volunteer with Montefiore Park Neighborhood Association to clean the park and participate in a special craft activity! Create your own nature collage using rose petals, hand painted tissue paper, and any natural materials that you can find in the park.
Artist, activist, and educator Jennifer Ifil-Ryan will be leading this wonderful activity. We encourage park users, neighbors, families, and visitors to join us! We look forward to caring for the park with you!
