Annual Neighborhood Remembrance Day Celebration
Remember the Civil War through re-enactments and other patriotic performances.
Lake Cemetery at Forest Avenue and Willowbrook Road
A traditional changing of the flag ceremony conducted by local veteran organizations. Grand Army of the Republic Post 524 re-enactors will remember the Civil War. There will be performances by the IS 51 band including classic patriotic songs, IS 51 choir will play taps, and a demonstration by the Curtis High School Robotics Team. Refreshments will be provided.
